Canteen
O.K. so the canteen is generally only used by staff.
Well the staff are the heart of any business and in my opinion, the
better the staff feel, the better the business.

The food is obviously important but the environment should be one that
makes people feel valued.
It is important that people are comfortable, that they can sit in large
or small groups.
It should be fairly relaxed as well as practical.
It is a good idea if people can unwind with a
cup of tea and then be refreshed and ready to go. The right
atmosphere helps

| If you are consulting people as to the type of food etc, that they want
made available, it might be a good idea to consult them also on the
type of space they would like to eat it in.
Would they prefer large refectory tables and benches in an oldy worldy
environment, or would they prefer hi tech metal tables and bright
colours? |

It doesn't do any harm to ask people what they would like and you never
know what answers you will get.
