immediately makes me think of "The Blues" meaning either the
depressions or the music or is there a connection there."

It helps to keep them fairly light, but generally blue is calming,
relaxing, good for bedrooms and living rooms. You have to watch out
that it doesn’t feel cold though. Violet warms it up or adding
pinks or any hot colour while lemon or white would keep the chill.

If you
want to use the strong dark tones then how about the bathroom again
or maybe anywhere but in moderation. |
