Yellow
They
call me mellow yellow, quite rightly, they call me mellow yellow.
"Well I
hate to say it but yellow is not always mellow. If it is too bright,
too yellowy then it can make you feel unsettled, be overwhelming."

Using
different shades of yellows, softer tones works better. The lemony
shades are very cheering , fresh and great in a kitchen. Buttermilky
tones are softer. They’re the mellow yellows.

"I love
using yellows actually, they make me think of spring, daffs and
crocuses and when there are the lilac and purple ones in amongst
them its just wonderful. They work really well together in a room .
Equally fab with greens and reds like a big nasturtium bed or with
blues. Isn’t mother nature grand and great for ideas."
