The pastels are a delight and easy to use, any
place any time any combination .......... well

Its almost a case of take the rainbow colours
add white and that's them .
If you look at what colours are mixing
together to give you a particular shade, then think about the
properties of those starting colours , you can get the idea of
the feel a particular pastel will bring to a room. |

Lemon for example if only yellow whitened down, will
hold the properties of yellow but with less strength
Add a dash of orange into the mix however and the
feel moves from fresh to warm.

You can use pastels and only pastels in a scheme to create a
gentle easy feel.
Added to strong colour they give welcome peace to the eye
or add contrast to create drama.
