Ceilings
Well you can have high ones and low ones. Each have advantages and
drawbacks.
| Follow basic rules |
Light colours keep it up and dark colours bring it down. |
You can artex it if you must. You can paint it or paper it or paint
works of art on it.

Cornice work breaks up the walls and ceilings giving detail.
If you have elaborate cornices and ceiling roses work with them. Its
always worth the pain of picking them out.
It can be done simply or elaborately depending on the circumstances and
looks fantastic

| If you don’t have one you can add a simple cornice very easily
nowadays with off the shelf products from a variety of sources. |

Beams are great again work with them. What feel do they suggest for the
room.

You can hang tented ceilings if you are feeling exotic or for fun in
kids rooms.
You can lower them or tile them or, or, "I’m running out of steam here.
