Newlyweds
You would probably rather be in your own place, but do not despair.
There are things that can be done to help make this
temporary space feel like your place.

Our first advice would be to empty out as much
stuff as you are able to clear and think minimalism
After all you will probably be building up piece by piece
so this is a good way to start
You should also be checking out starting from scratch in
the planning pages and most everything else too, to help you
get your head round what lies ahead. |
|
For now though if you can create the feeling of a living space
rather than just a bedroom, then it will feel less constricting
to be tied to one room.
A futon bed or a sofa bed is a great idea and it can go with
you to your own place either as a sofa, the bed or the spare
bed.
A table to eat and work at is crucial
Good storage will help to bridge the gap and you will be
amazed at what you can do if you just let your imagination take
hold. |
