"Tiled floors make me
think of hot climates. I
always wanted a hallway with
terra cotta tiles and stone walls . A hall that had to be kept cool
because it was so hot outside."
"Fine chance. Its not a
requirement here in Scotland except for maybe two days a year if you're
lucky."

"I wouldn't
have any thing other than tiles in my bathroom. Practical and
beautiful and again so much choice."
"I think for here
in a cold climate the only place to have your floors tiled is the
bathroom, kitchen or conservatory, but oh you lucky people that can
have it anywhere." |
| Still we can have tiles
on our walls. Again kitchens and baths spring to mind instantly but
there is more to tiles than the salt and pepper pot spot tiled along
the splashback Ugh!
Fun in a kids room. Stick them on
the top of a blanket box or something for a play area that wipes
down easy. Tables of course for anywhere but great in gardens and
conservatories. |

And of course there are all the ceramic bowls and vases and plates
and assorted beautiful objects
