The Study
"I always wanted
a big study with the walls of books and a big glowing fire."
Times have changed though with the technology and what was
once a study is not necessarily what we need from a study now.
Desking has
changed for example. Big old yew double pedestal desks with leather
tops are not necessarily what you envisage sitting your state of the art
computer on. We have different requirements now that technology is
changing the world.

Study areas in
cupboards and under stairs in kids bedrooms and living rooms or wherever, are more often than not, the order of the day.
|
|
There will
always be fabulous rooms, real studies lined with book cases and
leather chesterfields or their high tech equivalents in styles both traditional and contemporary.
Whatever you are
working with you need to think in terms of what equipment you need
to fit into what type of space.
|
|
Be realistic in
your vision but remember
if you use your imagination you can come up with wonderful rooms.

I'm sure.
